	<description>
When it comes to backyard safety, you can never take too many precautions, especially when you have children. We want to make backyard safety a part of your everyday life, so that you can have peace of mind while your children play safely in the outdoors. And remember, backyard safety is a part of home safety. You always want to be prepared, especially when children are involved. The require a lot of attention.

Backyard Safety Tips
What's the best way to prevent your child from getting injured? Supervision.

Always cover the area beneath swing sets or jungle gyms with shock absorbent material (sand, rubber, etc.) at least 9 to 12 inches deep.

Make sure all swing sets are safe. Do not install the metal or wooden swing sets for kids under a certain age. Use the plastic swing set with the rubber padding.

Do not place more than two swing seats in the same swing set. Children can get tangled up and hurt.

Make sure all protruding bolts are covered.

Purchase a few safety glasses.

Ropes should not be attached to swing sets for the same reason you don't want to put more than two swing seats together, risk of strangulation.

Do not make slides more than 6 feet tall; and remember, have padding at the bottom for safety.

Make sure there are guardrails for platforms and walkways and ramps.

When it comes to backyard safety don't leave anything to chance. Children don't have the intelligence enough to know what is dangerous from what is safe. Backyard safety is the job of the parent. Do your part and make sure your backyard is safe for your child.
